this is a dumb question but i'm new to street racing and i was wanting to know how to launch and if you have any other tips that would be great!

 

It really depends on what chassis, motor combination and type of tires you're workin with. The surface matters somewhat too as well. Give us a briefing of your vehicle and you'll be able to get some more educated responses.

rev it up and dump it

 

make sure you hit revlimiter when you dump the clutch, and to get the most power you have to bounce off the rev limiter in every gear.

 

only street race when you see LOTS of people standing around. that makes it much more interesting.

 

The street isn't really a prepared surface like the track. It's too easy to spin. I'll just take off like normal then gun it.
