sounds like throw out bearing but its not, help please
i have a 99 Si , when the car is in neutral and the clutch is out, it sounds like the throw bearing is shot, but when the clutch is to the floor it goes away, so i just replaced the throw out bearing and it still does the same thing, i was wondering if anybody had any idea's? please throw some out i need some help thanks justin
Could possibly still be the throwout bearing....
I had a clutch replaced and it wasnt making the noise and when clutch was replaced new throwout bearing was installed it started making same noise you're describing.... I just lived with it..... I heard there is a boot you can remove to lubricate something... not sure though.... maybe someone else can give their input....
just my .02 cents.
