let me guess, do you ave a wings west kit?
A lot of times this happens due to water in the molding holes or a bad rubber seal at the bottom of the side window glass.

I'm having this problem too, if you hold a hose against the driver or passenger window you can see the water poor down the glass and into the door panel..... right on top of the speaker mount.

I replaced the entire strip of weather stripping and it still leaks..... can't silicone it, without sealing my window closed.... what the hell do I do?

Try new mirror seals. Mine leaks, But only sometimes. It didn't leak until I put the passenger side mirror on. I also have a leak under the passenger side dash, Which I think is the boot the wires go thru from the door to the cabin. Word to your *****!

my water is leaking down the entire window seal, even after putting a new one in, my very temporary solution is to put my speakers in ziploc bags so the water doesn't touch the cones.

I think I'm gonna take it to a professional and tell them to make the water stop and just leave my VISA

No, doubt I'm thinkin of doing the same. My exterior is stock, but I stll get a trikle (SP) of water out of the bottom. No one knows how to fix this? Makes me want to take the complete door pannel off and see whats going on.

I work at a body shop and of course own a 89 CRX Si. basically the inside on the door is really open when the glass is up. i had a slight water leak once and this is what i did. take the door trim panel off, roll glass up have someone hose the glass while you're inside looking in the door. the water usually flows straight down to the bottom. but if you have speakers 5" or bigger the water sometimes drips on the magnet and follows the speaker in to the compartment.

make sure the door membrane in sealed tight. but some foam baffles from a stereo shop. ( there made to prevent rattles) out those into the speaker opening first then the speaker. they do a good job of sealing the water out.

well this sux... i was excited, thinking that someone was gonna tell me how to get it fixed. Oh well, I've got a load of work to do on the passenger side door also anyway, it does this crappy thing where the seat belt wont roll up sometimes and you slam the buckle in the door... I guess it's been happening for a long time though 'cause there are a bunch of dents in the inside part where the latch is.
Anybody got any suggestions on this?
Crx's are some leaky ****'s!

***edit... apex crx posted the fix while i was writing this... thanks apex***

Ok guys mine leaks from the side passengers side firewall. I cleaned my sunroof drain tubes and just couldnt figure it out. So heres a cheap solution pull the carpet up and drill some real small drain holes in your floor pan to drain the water out. After you drill make sure you put paint over the holes edges so it doesnt rust. This is my cheap fix untill I have time to find the exact spot. Could be from my windshield since it is cracked but the crack it on the drivers side?

firewall leaks are usually the grommets where wire comes in or a windshield leak caused by a bad seal and blocked vents (usually leaves).

The only way I can think of sealing the window leak is a different type of rubber lining that presses against the window tighter than the stock one, since both my old and brand new rubber strips leak like a mo fo.

either that or adding a plastic sheet inside the panel of the door that keeps the speaker and inner panel seperate from the window/regulator/ and outer panel which is basically a drainage channel for the water hitting the window.
