What are these things? Under my Cargo Cover.
So those wires are the power to the fuel pump? I asked this the other day and nobody could answer me. I am looking to make a fuel kill switch. Can anybody steer me in the right direction??

First one is the fuel amount unit (not the fuel pump at least 88-91) Big bronze hose is the filler hose and the other one is the vent hose....The black thing unsure of
Triangular thing is the Fuel Level Sender, Gold Pipe is the tube that takes the fuel you put in the filler door down into the tank, the other thing, can't remember what the other thing is.

i personally like to kill spark vs fuel. if your kill switch were to ever fail in the open position (killing the supply of fuel), your motor could go boom.
hey, someof those wires go to the pump, the others go to the FUEL SENDING UNIT. that is what sunder that plate as well. the pump can only be accessed by dropping hte gas tank. those lines are fuel return lines and other stuff.
You wouldnt know how to do this would you? I really would like to know because I have tried to ask so many people and nobody can give me a straight answer at all.

to make the fuel kill switch, peel back the wire loom around the wires that go to the fuel pump(thing in the middle, very first pic in your post), and find the yellow wire with the BLACK stripe on it. cut it, run the wire to whereever you want the switch, then use a single pole, single throw switch, and attach one end of the wire you cut to the switch. then get more wire and extend it back to the cut wire. basically the switch will open up the circut when the switch is in the on position, so the fuel pump wont turn on. pretty simple concept.
edit- my post is kinda confusing, so PM me if you have any questions.

I second that, I was told a relay is better then a cut off switch and easier to hide. I never understood though where all the wires go with the relay. But I never tryied, I'm sure its easy.

So you are saying that if I run the fuel cut off and it accidently cuts off in the middle of me driving it then there would be a chance of engine problems caused by that? I just want it so that if some theif tries to start my car he wont be able to because there is no fuel going to the engine. I would rather have a blown engine then have my whole car stolen.

To add a point...why don't you guys just diasble or interupt the ignition
circuit.....instead of the fuel pump? Whats the deal with that? If you
disable the ignition circuit you car will react this way....crank over
but will not start....sorta akin to engine trouble. The parts will cost less
than 25 and with a little skill can be made undetectable. THis always shows
up in the audio forum all the time.
