I tore the lip on my 99 Si and need a new front lip. I'd like to get something different and saw these Mugen and Type R knockoffs on Ebay for pretty cheap. Are these worth buying? I don't want anything flashy like the Greddy. Some of the Tsunami ones I've seen don't look too bad. Are there any others out there that are decent without being too gaudy? Thanks for the help!

 

Samething well sell..... all made by the same manufacturer, and made out of ABS plastic. It's durable like urethane but won't crack like fiberglass. For the price, it's worth it, but if you want to paint it, you need to sand it down, primer it, and then shoot it with paint. Also, depending on what batch the seller has, get the black lip for the 99-00 Civics, and not the white lips, as all of the black ones we've had fit perfectly and the white ones were like 1/2" too short on the side and required some stretching to make it fit.

 

^^ yeah dude thats totally true, I got one of the white ones and I needed to stretch it a little but other that that, It looks pretty good for the price considering I only paid $38 dollars for it. I'd say go for it!
