Good, inexpensive, Si Replica lip?
What is a good source for inexpensive replica Si lips for 99-00 civics?
What I consider inexpensive is under $150 for a lip that actually looks very similar. I'm very wary of eBay showing pictures of other people's cars then mailing you a lip that looks totally different, like most of the other eBay crappy clones.
If anyone has a source, please let me know. I've tried searching for the past hour and couldn't find anything. There is also nothing in the FAQ section. Thanks.

I can't recall seeing too many OE Style '99-'00 front lips looking like the real ones. (The Si just got the optional lip standard btw.)
Fake ones will generally look bigger and more exaggerated than the real ones.
If you want one that looks real, you might just have to hold out and save up for a real one.

I'd rather a new lip from a reputable source than haggling over the price with someone overpricing a used one.

Check hondaautomotiveparts.com and see what the price is. Last time I checked it was right around 150 bucks for the OEM lip. Btw, it's not just the Si that had it. That lip was optional on every 99-00 and standard on the Si.

There ya go, Honda OEM CTR/Si lip for 211 dollars and it comes painted in the Si colors apparently. Also, from the looks of the picture it includes all the mounting hardware too, definitely a bonus.

I myself never understood why people thought it was a different lip. Look at the damn thing, it's the same lip. Also, it was standard for the 99-00 Si, but optional for every other trim level. Not many non-Si cars had them at all and in fact it's pretty rare to see a non-Si that came with one. IIRC it was something that you had to order with the car when it was manufactured, not a dealer accessory.

Most people just don't care about an appearance package though.
Currently it is not very rare to see a car that is not an i with them. I'm sure it was uncommon at one point in time, but not as much now.
Oh, and they're discontinued too. Sure, you can see them listed through Honda, but I believe they're all gone.

Your best bet will probably be to buy used.
Call Honda and ask about it. They can confirm if it's discontinued. Most options for 6th gens are. You'll see they're all listed in the catalog though.
