Something else to think about is how you plan on using the motor. Sounds like you were doing high speed pulls on a highway or something. That type of "racing" (see below) is a lot tougher on the engine than drag/street racing.
that said... Maybe it was just a test and tune session. We've all done it, but there's this group of idiots in the Dallas area who are into the whole interstate racing thing. They like to do 120+ mph runs for miles. If street racing is stupid then I can't even think of a word to describe how assinine these guys are.

yes i had a greddy kit with blue box and a fmu and it was runing good at 8 to 10psi
on the street and stripe it was the 13 to 14 psi that is not good

No that is not good enough for 10psi at all you would have needed bigger injectors.. The reason you engine blew was a lack of tuning. If it was tuned a spike to 13psi would be alright I figure was probably detonating the moment you went past 8psi.

opps sorry

The engine didn't just die, you killed it. I boosted my D16Y8 up to 12psi for over a year (mind you I boosted it with 85k miles) on both the AFC hack and Hondata, never had a single problem with the motor. Hell, 122k miles later and it's still running 100%..
i do have 310 injectors and i was going 117mph at 5000 rpm at 13 to 14 psi the rods cant take that it is not a lack of tuning it was too much boost
and yes it was my fault i did kill it o well time to build it up
