Default OT - a new project vehicle

couldn't pass up this opportunity at the price:

1970 Austin Mini

anyone need vdub rims? or know what model these are off of?

Future home of a B series, ****, this is going to take forever.

I need engine mounts to mock up subframe modifications. if anyone has any that have the rubbers torn, or are willing to help a brother out. please let me know. also need a tranny case.. if anyone has something that they think is trash, and can still be used for mock up, hook a brother up.

there, now it's on topic.

Hey, if you want frame rails with the mount mounts on them, I have a Teg front clip I am going to be cutting up and trashing within the next month or so. I can cut and send you as little or as much as you want (as long as you pay shipping).

I don't have the mounts themselves, but it would be a snap to just weld on portions of the Teg frame rails to the Mini rails.

Where are you located? In in Ohio - if you want to pick up the whole clip you can - it's stipped down to just the frame and I fit it in the back of my pickup truck no problem.

Well, i will be fabricating something like this...

i don't believe i'll actually ahve enough room for actual honda mounts from the front inner fenderwells.... but, i'd definatly take them off your hands.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm in orlando, so, if you could chisel those fawkers off the fenderwells, i'd be happy to take em off your hands whenever.

I hate you D. I've wanted one of those for a while.

You do know that there are places that sell those subframes, right? I also have a couple websites that sell carbon fiber body panels for almost every panel on those minis and other various racing parts. PM if you want some URLs and info.

I guess this will side-track your CTR pistoned block project, eh? Good luck, this new one is slightly more complicated .

Haha, rather than put it in that pig of an Integra, just drop it in the Mini. That would be quite interesting.....
