does the 1993 a/t civic sedan come with a vtec?

i am a little confused here. does the 1993 a/t civic sedan come with a vtec?
i think its a d16, but is it a vtec?

nope...i beleive its like 96-00 SOHC Vtec

Only if it's an EX model, which came with the D16Z6 SOHC VTEC engine.

'92-93 D16Z6 valve covers do not have the "VTEC" logo on them, but they are indeed a VTEC engine.

92-95 Civic EX Sedans were D16Z6 SOHC VTEC engines. LX were D15 non VTEC engines. 92-95 EX Sedans and 93-95 EX Coupes came with SOHC VTEC AT's and only 92-95 Si's came with 5 Speed SOHC VTEC

yea it does not say vtec on the cover, but it is a ex sedan 1993 a/t. no where on the car says vtec. but its 125 hp i think. i know the coupe is vtec. its 1.6 liters i knoe ...the sedan.

'94-95 D16Z6 valve covers have the VTEC logo on them . . . but what's the point? I personally think it's a waste of time and money. Does it really matter if it says VTEC or not? It's still a VTEC engine . . .
