Default Help, Neon Lights Won't Work

I have red underbody neons that were working fine til tonight. For some reason when i flip the switch, they flash on then don't glow. I know im getting power from the battery because my switch is illuminated. And im PROBABLY (please correct me if im wrong) getting current through the wires cuz they flash. So can anybody tell me whats wrong? I checked all the connections and they seem to be fine. And the fuse is not blown either. could it be the tubes, cuz they are brand new. I also have the neons running to the battery terminal in my engines fuse box if that helps any. I redid all the connections under the hood and they were fine. All the other ones looked fine too. Any help would be great and please don't flame cuz i have neons they are for shows haha( go ahead and flame as long as you help me)

haha good thing you're ready to get flamed j/k... I would try using one of those wire testers to make sure you're getting power to where you think it's going

Dont flame him...to each their own. If you cant provide help, dont post.

Im not sure other than the tubes. Im not too good with wiring, nor am I famliar with the lights at all. Have you tried hooking up a bulb to the wires powering the tubes? If the bulb illuminates, theres your answer.

Maybe now would be a good time to take them off and invest your time in something else. J/K Try looking at all of your connections. Something just might be loose.

does it flash when your driving, that might be the connection rattleing and losing current, but if you checked all the wires for current and they all seem fine its got to be the connection to the bulbs, did you have them put on or did you do it?

Check the actual tubes. If there is any crack on them at all, they won't work. This happened to mine. I think it was a sign from God saying, Take that **** off. But check that out.

What system are you using? I have installed a few systems for friends, mainly StreetGlow, but anyways.... This sounds to be to be a transformer box problem. If you have changed nothing, i mean havnt hit anything, bumped a tube, or loose ground, then this flicker at first turn on sounds like the transformer box to me.

I also think that STreetglow has a lifetime warantee or something like that on there transformer boxes. Im sure other companies would have something similar.

Good luck
