Here is my problem.

My car Oil lights keep going on and off.

When I rev my car high the Oil light goes away but when it come back to Ideal the lights come on again.

I have checked engine oil it has enough oil!!!

is their anyway I can see if the sensor is bad or maybe wiring is dead?

Please help out if you can!!

Is your VTEC wired up correctly and is the solenoid working? Do you have a test light? Use that and have a buddy rev the motor and then check to see if you have conitinuity with the wiring!

 

My buddie just had the same problem. Oil level and everything was good. Does it bog down when you get on it? May be a sign of you oil pump going bad. We never got to troubleshoot my buddies because it shot the rod through the block shortly after the oil light stated coming on and off.

Keep on revving it and the problem should show itself soon. Probably out the side of the block.

 

the car does not BOG when light comes on!!!

it drives normal but it goes on and off.

when I rev high it goes away but after it comes back to regular idel it appears again..

are you overdue on an oil change? its a long shot but u could try changin oil

 

well I just did the swap like a few week ago didn't even drive it for 50miles yet.

in my std hatch.

I don't think it needs an oil changin.. I have oil I can try to change it see what happens..

 

its the oilpump. thats usually what happens as they go bad (loosing pressure under higher rpm).

 

Before you go replacing the pump, drop the oil pan and clean the oil pickup tube and screen. If it looks all gummed up, that would be the cause of your problem.

 

Same thing happened to me
15 minutes later I has a speed hole in the block

 

check the pickup as stated if thats ok i would say 80% sure its the pump , just can't make any pressure at idle. good luck

 

what u mean by that?

speed hole?
the block blew up or it shot a hole through the block?

 

Where do I check before I replace the Oil PUMP the **** I squared?

possibly yes, could mess up your pickup.

If the oil pan is dented enough it can, but check your connecter on the back of the block for the oil sending unit. Make sure the connection is good.

 

Yes I think that is the case because when I rev high it gets oil.

I talked to Old man who fixes car he explained to me how it works he said working with car that long Honda doesn't **** up Oil Pumps. I told me about the dent on the Oil Pan he said that might be the problem also.

told me get a wood and hit the oil pan out..

problem was the PickUp Coil was bent I fixed the Oil Pan dent and the Pickup and everything works.
