A Field VTEC controller will clear that right up.

It's built into all the JDM ECU's.

Seriously, Why would you want to go more then 115 on a public highway? Do you realize there are people driving on that highway, who might have babies, or little children... And your being a moron by trying to be a speed racer next to them..
Dont claim your car is for racing because if it was you would not care about the 200 dollar price tag for a new chip...

Leave the man alone for Christ sake. We all know the laws. We all know there are women and children around, and not to plow them over. Big deal. We are all enthusiast, what we do is go fast. Speed limitors limit us from going fast. So they need to be removed. Call locashracing.com he did my ECU I have reved 5th out to 9,000rpm on occasion. With an S1 tranny that works out to be about 154mph.

He is not here to be lectured. He has a legit question. What ECU are you running?

all JDM ecu's have a 112mph speed governor.... wich in terms its about 180kmph limit.
to get rid of that.....
u can have a chip in ur ecu....
u can get a Field's SFC-VTEC wich has that ability
or be good and stick to the limit,!!

Bouncing off the speed limiter on public roads is not being and enthusiast, its being a moron. If he wants to remove it for a legit reason like racing on a track fine, but I'd rather not have someone plowing down the freeway at 120mph when I or anyone else I know is driving.

Dude, hold the **** up. If you don't want to get plowed over on the highway then don't come to Ohio, lots of people do outrageous amounts of speed on a daily basis. So stay in Oregon and milk some more ******* cows, or whatever there is to do in Oregon. I would definitly speed frequently if I lived in that worthless *** state. Anyway the man had a legit question. If you don't have an answer other than talking ****, then don't say anything at all. If you want to argue with me, then go ahead I will win the argument. If the man wants to speed that is his choice. He will pay the price. Who are you to tell him what to do? We are ALL enthusiast here so let's not argue over stupid **** like this. Next time think before you post. We are all here for the same reason. I don't want to start a fight but I get sick of people spouting off bullshit like you did, to a man just trying to find some answers.

Ever had a friend pay the price due to someone elses choice?

The answers were already stated and I never meant to start a fight either, I speed just like the rest of us but not to the point where I bounce the limiter. If you want the last word Bart go ahead and take it, maybe something else about Oregon, that was clever. It is pretty rainy here, see if you can use that.

you could always look for a used rsm from apex'i. It takes away the speed limiter too.

anybody ever notice that difference of opinion prevents people from getting a straightforward answer in almost every thread in this forum nowadays? People, either answer the question, or keep your piehole shut. There are different threads for opinions on things, but when nobody asks for them, and someone asks a question, i'm more than sure that they asked the question to get an answer, not to be lectured. Can we all try to refrain from personal opinion in threads like this and just try answering the damn questions(hence the reason for the creation of the thread) and stop the petty high school arguments please? i'm not the only one who's getting fed up with it. Is this an informational forum, or a test of moral beliefs?
