Default Finally gettin some CASH. what would you do?

OK. Im finally gettin some money soon, about 2,500. Im thinkin Apexi N1 full cat, some DC 4-2-1's... hmm... what else....
and by the way, the N1 is real expensive, and I was wondering if anyone has an N1-like (fake) muffler, and how it sounds compared to the real thing.
Im lookin for any suggestions with the exception of any forced induction (turbos, supercharger, etc...)
So what would you do with 2500 and a close-to-stock teg?

Oem kit is a nice addition to a stock car. will run u bout 500$ used. I would get a CAI, header, and exhaust also. that will run u bout 1000 total from modacar.com or importparts.com. Then spend bout 600 on Springs and Shocks. Eibach Pro and Koni Blues u can get on modacar.com for 600 not a tremendous drop, but u will be able to notice. Then save 300 for a rainy day =P.

Oem kit is out of the question since he has a 94 integra, the front bumper and rear valence wouldn't fit. But I say you should work on your suspension as well or maybe take a look into forced induction or all motor since many people choose this route as they progress with their cars. Its all on you, just use it wisely

B16 tranny would probably be funner than basic boltons. Or you could say screw boltons and put together a cheap turbo kit, give you at least what all boltons would do.

Not another one of these threads.

Doesn't really matter, Chris is going to lock this as soon as he sees it.

Thought about buying a h22a front clip?
Later you can buy mounts, axles and install the 2.2 in there.

Just a suggestion.

Whatever you do don't buy from modacar. We have a whole tread on buying products from them. If i were you i would a AEM Cold Air Intake, DC 4-2-1 header, and Apexi WS Exhaust. These should cost you under 1000 and if you have the tools you can do it DIY. Then save the rest of that money and save like another grand and then do your Head up or possibly get a ITR LSD or something.

I have a 94 Frost white GSR, i put Apexi N1 cat back exhaust, DC 4-2-1 headers AEM pulleys and intake! I just got Skunk 2 Stage 2 cams. Real quick. The exhaust sounds sweet. It purrs and low rpm and screams when vtec kicks in. Real tight sound. Its expensive but i have no regrets

i would build the motor
get some ctr pistons ctr cams
and get the bacis bolt ons
but dont wast your money on expensive stuff like a aem cai
get a $30 intake from ebay go to the muffler shop and have them make u custom mandral bent piping. thats going to cost about half the price or less than a name brand cat back
get koni yellows and ground controls coilovers or just some good name brand springs
get all the strut bars and tir bars and dont get dc bars plz
thats about it i think

how much do you like cars? are you going to keep your car for a long time or sell it soon? i would build the engine... you can do it over time and its tight having each upgrade and you feel how much faster you car gets from it. that is the best feeling, when you can actually feel the money you put into your car, trust me i have just gone through this experience

For a street car, there is no replacement for displacement.

Go buy a h22 swap. And MAKE It fit!

If you dig the 1.8, STROKE IT!! to a 20+!!!!
Torque rules!!

building the internals will make the most power. buyin bolt-ons will only disappoint you as day comes and realize that you have to sell or keep em in the garage. build it, then force indunction if you want all go or a sleeper. (have to save up money for FI of course).
pistons/cam shafts/injectors/vafc/rods (FI safe)/bore out etc for $2,500 should do it.

tune it and u should get bit more power VS buyin all the bolt-ons
