Default Front end conversions-EF

So I saw a guy who did a jdm teg r conversion on his rex-It looked horrible - he said all he did was use the core support-the type r fenders/hood which he cut to fit and the bumper-nothing lined up right....I was considering either using an RSX or Insight conversion (cuz I like the lights but the flow of the body compared to a crx looks kinda funky now that Ive sat down and seriously condemplated it)-Ne1 who has done a conversion show me what they did and explain what parts they used. Im pretty good w/body work but I just want some insight on what others have done so I can get it done smoothly on the first try. Even teg/cl conversions on ne ef....I just need some insight to motivate me..

the angular lines of the CRX just don't match with the newer front ends you guys are talking about. Anything conversion other than a SiR front end would be RICE. Please think about these modifications before you spend a lot of money on them. If you like the front end of another car, why don't you just buy that car. I promise it will look much better.

IMO, dont waste your money on something that will look, and fit, like crap

if you want the front end of an ITR or integra, get a 92-95 civic and do it on that. it'll still look like crap IMO, but fit better

Anyone ever thought of doing a flip up headlight NSX front end conversion on a true widebody CRX or ED hatch? The cars were designed around the same time (late 80's and EARLY 90's).

I know it's a completely different chassis, but the angular lines are there.

Somone might be able to photo shop the NSX front end with the crx. It might look good but it would proboble be too much money.

Im really confused of what the hell is rice to some people, Most people conclude that rice is stuff that you can either buy at a super market, or things like 6 feet high wings on a ff car or millions of stickers, when you have no parts from the company of the sticker or something really ghetto. But I dont think a front end conversion or just a head light conversion to have flip up lights is rice. It might not be your stlye but why is it rice? I can understand if someone wanted to put like a porche front end on a honda civic hatch back, or something that might be conceived as ricer... But To my understanding ricers usually just have 20 inch generic rims with no drop on a stock civic coupe with a local audio shop sticker and a aluminum wing... I think if you can incoperate the lights right into the front end it might look good, Rice is the in the eye of the beholder i guess =/
