i got a 00 b16a2 in my 98 cividx .it jerks sometimes when drive in first gear ,like if it needs more gas.do i have to change my dx fuel pump to a si or integra fuel pump or could something else be causing me to jerk in first at low speed?

 

Might want to check the igntion system...like the rotor, cap, wires, sparkplugs...check out the fuel filter...etc.

There is lots of things it could be.

 

where should the timing mark be on the b16a2?

 

i have the same motor in a 96 coupe and have a similar problem. if i ease it into first and then just let it roll with no gas, it surges forward. i am convinced it is not electircal/fuel, but the motor mounts. i have my stock ex mounts (except rear) with es inserts in the front lowers and rear. the inserts helped, but it's still there. i'm thinking of just sucking it up and buying all new mounts, perhaps spoon ($$$).

 

check your motor mounts i had that same problem
