Street car 1/8 mile times!!!
As some of you may know about a month ago I purchased a 1996 Acura integra gsr at an auction for $1000, sure the cams, distributor, valve cover, ecu, exhaust and some other missolanious stuff was missing I still made out like a bandit on that deal.
After getting everything running I actually found the previous owner of the car and bought a AEM CAI from him for $50 and a thermal classic exhaust on ebay for $250 than i just used some of the stuff off of the other turbo integra to make this thing run..
Than the original plan was to go to the track last friday I had all of the stuff loaded up and ready to go, I come down the driveway and with the clutch all the way pressed in and being in first gear my car still keeps rolling while I'm 20ft away from my house so I'm like "****" thinking it was the throw out bearing... I end up pullin the trasmission off and one of the flywheel bolts backed out so a week later being yesterday I got her all wrapped up and went to the 1/8 mile track..
Here is a pic of the car and the mods again..
96 Integra Gsr
OBD1 ecu
Action 2md clutch
Aem Cai
Thermal classic
Test pipe
Gsr Transmission with 2nd and 3rd gear out of an 99 si
20x8x14" MT slicks
No back seats
The car weighed in at 2660lb. with me in it...
With a total of 6 passes my times ranged from 9.77 to 9.22
Best Pass of all being:
reaction .611
60 ft 1.93
330 ft 5.90
1/8 et 9.2222
1/8 mph 74.65
I did hit a 9.2 3 times and here are the other two
reaction .846

1/8 mph 75.06
reaction .909

That isnt that great a time for a gsr on slicks. Where are you racing it at? We have had several here run 9.4 with I/H/E and 16" street tires. That is also full interior with a stereo system in one.
Also your mph seems slow also. That mph looks like some of the high 9/low 10 cars in my area.
Not knocking just saying

I race it here in Eddyville Iowa, and I my mph is slower than the high 9 or low 10sec cars because I'm on slicks and they are spinning their tires instead of having traction right there..
I'm still missing a header thou but the car should see an 8.9 et in the same trim with some less weight and better gas...

Selling the car is definitely gona be the next step for it, sence money will be made on it for sure...
I just wanna beat it up a little before I do sell it..

I see you are on slicks but the mph still seems low. Maybe it is because you are nowhere near sealevel. Maybe that helps our mph here since we are right by the ocean.
considering you bogged down hardcore birdman, your trap speed isn't too bad at all... Remember what the trap speed was on that white hatch, you were still right there with him.
