Default turbo newbie question?

this is my first turbo setup so i tried to do it right the first time around.
revhard 2c kit
import builders block/head sleeved 9:5.1 cr(b16)
hondata 2b(pr3 crx)
550 injectors
255 in tank fuel pump
after i break in the motor i will be installing the turbo. is there a way to install the turbo/hondata and somehow disable boost. the closest hondata tuner is about an hour and a half away and i really don't want to blow it up before i get there. any suggestions on what to do?

fortunately, with the hondata installed and it NOT seeing boost, it'll perform as if it were a normal car. Just make sure your base program is programmed for your injectors or else the car wont run at all or run very poorly. I dont think u'd want to run that rich for 1.5 hours.

as for the turbo being on the motor during the break-in period (I'm not sure if your kit has an internal or external wg AND if its an atmospheric dump-tube) but u can unbolt the WG arm which will leave the wg flap open all the time.

I plan on towing my car when Im finished. Probably get a 2 wheel dolly and use my friends H2. It's the safest option IMO.

ahhhh thats even better. I'd rather you tow the car to get tuned instead of gunking up your internals and exhaust with black fuel residue.

good luck!
