Default Interest in complete EEPROM burner kits?

I've had a few people express interest in this. I know a lot of you need these for Uberchips, Hondatas, whatever.

Here's the deal. If you buy the burner from Batronix...

$34.95 for the DIY unassembled kit.

OR

$62.95 for the assembled burner.

In addition to this, you also need a ZIF socket, which is an additional $7.95 (unless you want to be using a chip puller all the time).

You also need a power supply. I got mine from Radio Shack and it was over $20.00!

Figure shipping to be $10-15.

Your cost is going to range between $52 and $80 dollars after shipping depending on which package you buy, plus you have to buy the power adapter and software.

-----------------------------------

Now, I can probably sell these for about $80 assembled, and with a power supply.

I will also use a different power connector. The problem with the Batronix is that it comes with a power connector made to accept bare wires. Connecting the power like this makes it very easy to get the polarity reversed, which fries the buner (I know from experience ).

I am going to use barrell connectors like every other board uses to prevent this issue

All this leaves you to buy is the software. The cool thing about that is you can download the software from the Batronix website and register online ($25) so you don't have to pay shipping or have to wait for it to arrive.

To work this deal, I have to buy quite a few of the boards and even more of the components needed to assmble the burner, so what I would like to do is see if anybody wants to "pre-order" a few. This is just to keep me from jumping in and getting stuck with a bunch of these things.

If you are interested, even if you have contacted me already, send me an email

here.

If these is enough interest, I will ask that you to go ahead and place your order (you can pay via Paypal for this deal) and I will order the parts. Once they arrive I will assmble the burners and ship them out within a couple of days. Depedning on the time it takes for the parts to arrive (mainly the circuit boards since they are coming from Germany) turnaround time should be pretty quick, hopefully less than 2 weeks.

If you're using Hondata, you'll need Hondata's ROM editor and the Prog-Studio program from Batronix along with this burner.

Sonofabitch, it figures you come out with this 2 WEEKS after I get my Batronix!

Oh well, bump for a good price from a good seller.

Sooo.....you guys change your minds or what? Nobody has ordered.

I already picked up a bunch of stuff for these, including extra power adapters. If anybody that already has the burner needs a power supply, contact me!

Well, I just got my batronix kit today, oh well. I am interested in getting my eeprom, ziff socket and installation kit that I ordered from you a while back, though. has that gone out yet?

In any case, what is the difference between the power supply you have and the one available at radio shack? Price?

OBD0 chip = OBD1 chip, just different program burned to it.

Batronix Eprommer 3.x is a great unit. They burn far more chips than an automotive hobbyist will ever need.

I IM'd you this morning, and every other time I have been able to get onto Honda-Tech (which admittedly is not every day any more). I've been trying to keep my patience with you, but I guess you have the patience of a 5 year old. A prime ******* example of why I didn't want to do this crap anymore.

I TOLD YOU FROM THE GET-GO....I would need to wait until a few people had ordered, which I did. I ordered the parts. They trickled in. There were some diodes missing from one of my orders, which kind of makes the things not work if they are not there.

I am trying to source some locally so that I can lose even more money and get your stuff shipped out. It's really so I can keep Jeff happy

I said in my post the lead time would be approx two weeks, give or take, depending on the time it took for me to get the parts. If you needed it in a tighter time frame, you should have had one overnighted from Batronix.com for twice the price.

When things are out of my control, all I can do is do my best to make the situation work.
