Helper springs on HAs?
I talked to someone yesterday who said that the helper springs on his HAs were unnecessary. I used to have HAs before and I decided to keep them (the helper springs) in, as I saw no advantage to taking them out.
Am I missing something? What would be a good reason to remove the helper springs?

I don't believe there's any advantage to take them out too.....Btw, I've helper spring in rear but not in front and I don't see/feel any different the way they perfrom.

same setup i have since i wanted my car lower than the ideal 1.75 drop tein recommends...however, either way it matters not that much. the helper springs are required in japan because the suspension setups cannot have spring rattle. as it is known, that does not apply here in the states.
