said hed send my ecu sent out and overnighted 3 weeks ago. really need it since i cant drive my car. its been over a month now and hes not answering my calls, responding to emails nor is on AIM lately. i woulndt be as irritated if I knew that hte only reason he hasnt done it is because he is lazy (which is what he has told me every time ive talked to him).

turbodGSR what do you mean you recieved a chip but it was all messed up? I have mine here just waiting to pop it in the ecu and fire the car up. Now you have me worried.

I don't understand why he came on so strong with the Uberchip and then all of a sudden no one has heard from him?

Now granted I have my chip (still waiting for the software), but I haven't tried it yet to see if it works.

i dont know exactly why he got banned. he was warned that he needed to act a little more professional if he was gonna be a respected seller.

that should be independent of him helping you guys out.

Ummm, no. Once a jerk, always a a jerk. He can't even stand it when someone gives him a little criticism about his product...what makes you think that he'll even listen to his customers? I saw this coming a long time ago...just by the way he responded to everything, that's why I paid no attention to his copycat chips. Sure, it's only a $100 or so...but as you guys can see, it's $100+ down the drain. Should have gone with a "REAL" product that actually has customer support...LOL!

He was really cool when dealing with me. Got my chip in 2 days after paying him and he gave me all the customer support i needed. although i haven't talked with him for some time now. good luck to all of you who need to get your stuff back.

That's what people get for not dealing with professionals. Now you know the added cost of professionalism and research and logistics and so on.

I emailed him about a week ago, asking him about the chip and why he got banned, said he was still selling them and he didn't know why he got banned.

I was looking forward to getting one of his chips, esp. now that you can tune them yourself, so I hope eveything works out.

Guess I'll see for myself when I'm ready to buy.

I am going to step in here and try to help everybody out (even though I already have too much going on in life) because I want to see that everybody is taken care of - I definitely want to see this chip and it's installed and support base grow. It's a great thing for people on a budget IMO. Uberteg helped me out ALOT when I was having car problems and sent me one before they were officially for sale. My car kicked *** with it and so far I've heard from most customers that they are very happy with it. Those that were not should have been taken care of to my knowledge.

Blake contacted me a few days ago and said something to this affect:

First and foremost, he has been away from his computer 99% of the time lately. He blew his motor or something to that effect and is staying with a friend while repairing it at this person's house.

94goldjungsr - he refunded $50 for the delay already, and apologizes. Something about your car is already running and you're going to loan your ecu to a friend? Not sure what that is about. At the end of the email he says he is going to refund you the rest of your money and send your ECU back.

TurboGSR - he says that he sent you two chips, one regular and one for 3 bar [although 3 bar isn't officially supported yet, I assume he has been working on it since I sent him a 3 bar map and pigtail]

Now, I am not his brother, neighbor, or anything like that. I don't create the base maps, so I do rely on him to do these and I will burn and ship them for the people that order from me, and occassionally for people that order from him when he needs a hand (and vice-versa). We're both very busy people, and that can mean that everybody doesn't get their stuff as quickly as they would like, but I do my best, as I am sure he does. Yes, he has a temper, mouth, whatever, but people are people.

 

uberteg is a good guy man...he helped me out soo much and i didnt even know the guy....he told me a couple of days ago he blew his motor and has been really busy working on his car and chipping ecu's. give him a week and he'll get everything straighten out..

 

Who cares if he blew a motor. The level of professionalism he is showing dictates the price he is selling his product. Cheap and Unrealible.

Professionals do it for a certain period(acceptable) of time. and has somebody to answer your call M-F 9am-5pm. And even professionals blow their motors they still have to oblige to theirs customers order.

the deal was my friend was going to boost and was going to give me his ecu. now he is using an SAFC hack to boost while he waits for the uberchipped ecu. I now have NO ECU because my friend is using his. At least hes refunding me, that'd be good, or at least an email. thanks for letting me know. i was getting really frustrated when he wasnt answering any form of communication having just been scammed on a CF lip.

 

well i never fully trust something like having someone chip ecu's and have their programs run my car without even seeing it...then dyno my car and have him try to figure out whats going on by a dyno sheet...what if he made a slight mistake and advanced ur timing instead of retarding it like it should be and u blow up ur motor...theres no guarantee with anything but i would go afc hack or just go ***** out and get a hondata....either way my afc hack werks just fine
