Default y8 oil pan on ZC

will this work?

I remember breaka_1_9 had to do somethin else when switchin pans. I think he had to switch the oil thing thats attatched to the block but hangs in the pan.. anyone know if I'll need to do this?

yeah, you gotta see if the oil pickup thing fits in the right way. The pan will have the deepest place right where the pickup is - so it gets the oild from the very bottom.

A good person to ask is Sonny, he's often on crx.honda-perf.
He 'd gone through a lot fo research with his A1/ZC motor.

NO..d16y pans have different bolt pattern at the oil pump...Y8 pan will not bolt up to block 95 or before

i had problems getting the moroso oil pan on the ZC b/c the freaking pickup was in the way. 1st-hybrid helped me out and got the pan on. i don't think it will ever come off with the tranny attached to the motor though.

ahh that really sucks. looks like I'll have to do some drilling of my own for my oil return line instead of using a y8 pan thats already been tapped.
