I would like to know also. How does anyone think these will fare in a B16, Skunk2 valve train, Portflow head, 85mm GE sleeved block w/ Arias 85mm 12.1:1 pistons, Crower rods. With that there will also be a Cometic .025" headgasket and flat valves so compression should be around 12.5ish:1. Thoughts? What other set-ups are out there with these cams?

I have seen first hand on the dyno that that are not very easy to tune. There was a pretty big dip before vtec came on and then it just looked like a pair of skunk stage 2's.

This was on a ls/vtec with ITR pistons, .020 milled head, valvetrain upgrade, fields fuel controller, DC 4-1 GSR header and some other odds and ends. Not really able to adjust too much but we were running pretty aggressive ignition timing and adjusted the fuel and vtec points accordingly and left with I 193hp?? I think, kinda hard to remember but it ran decent. This was done with an open header as well. Hope I helped a bit.

the header in this case is the problem...try a ported itr manifold too if u havnt already...at least on that car, but its not yours so who cares

not enough compression...no head work...rinky dink header....etc.....that motor needs like ctr cams instead of some skunk3's. Waaaaay too much cam for not enough motor....its kinda like saying..."want some popcorn with that butter?"
