Default Clutch Installation??

What's up... I did a search but couldn't find much help...

In order to install a new clutch at home, what are teh necessary steps? Is it just taking the front dirveshafts off, and unbolting the tranny from the bottom, then lowering the tranny out? Any tips or suggestions?? Thanks

Btw, if it matters, its a 95 RS.

Basically. I think it'd be best if you could get your hands on a HELMs manual or something that has detailed pics of it, and has all the torque settings.

That or take it somewhere. Dropping a tranny and installing a clutch = not fun (IMO).

My friend did his own. Came out just fine 7 hours later, but he was sooo ******* dirty his g/f made him burn his clothes.

I say take that **** to a shop and pay the $250 bux to get it installed.

I did my own clutch/flywheel last summer. It's not that bad. However, a HELMS manual is a must -- and don't cheap out on one of those Chilton/Haynes books.

id say it would be easier to take the whole engine out so you have everything in front of you instead of trying to get to all those bolts while its in the car.
