Been having a few problems lately..... here's a brief rundown.


Car is running good, with code 7 and 22..Install knock sensor, and calibrate TPS. Change oil and install new plugs.
Car gets a weird hesistation (hiccup) under 5k rpm. I put on a new cap.
Then i get a code 22.
So i put in the 2 vtec solenoid gaskets last night, cleaned it up a lil with carb cleaner, bought new NGK wires, put them on. NOw the car wont even run, it starts up barely, and i giving it gas i can barely get it to keep going. I double checked the plug wire order, now it seems the code 22 popped back up, after resetting the ecu.
What the hell is wrong????

dont run your car when it is throwing codes!! thats the first thing you do! find out whats wrong because if your car is throwing codes it could lead to more and more problems

 

It ran better when i had the 2 codes, i fixed them, and now i have all these problems....

 

Long shot but did you put the plugs in the right order ?

 

Hey your still getting code 22 right, it sounds like the spool inside the vtec is bad.

 

did you ever fix this problem? if not, what was the last thing that you did before the car became hard to start/run??

 

i wouldnt recomend carb cleaner on the vtec sylinoid, brake parts cleaner or brake fluid, yea your dizzy might be going out or maybe the rotor inside my friends rotor went out and it would start up and then die or sometimes start up drive for like a few mins then die when we were like 20 mins from his house and we had to push it like 3 miles to an autozone haha. that was a crappy day.
