Poke around this site a little more and you'll realize pretty much everyone here would rather spend cash on engine, suspension, etc.....

You'll get flamed pretty ruthlessly for asking about the dOpESt bOdyKiT, yO!!

IMO it's one of the best qualities of Honda-Tech........it's brutal honestly.

 

i bought a body kit when i first started out and trust me it is the biggest waste of money EVER! you could gamble away 800.00 and it not be as big of a waste of money. imo

 

body kits are gay. dont go that route. put the money under the hood where it belongs.

definatly....dont get one..biggest waste of money and time..you will spend hours fitting sanding re fitting...bigggest pain in the ***

You took those words right out of my mouth. What kind of car are you looking to put a body kit on? I have a Black Widow kit I will trade you straight across for your stock stuff. &gt;&gt;&gt;&gt;&gt;&gt;&gt;&gt;That shows you how much I like my gay body kit.

But seriously if you want to trade and have the same car as me and would be willing to come get it its yours......

 

instead of bodykit, maybe you should get like lips or something else for your car.... itz really wasting of money i had bodykits on mine,too and i totally regret it .. and eventually, you'll put your stock back on like i did...

I personally like the wings west lip kits!! still looks clean

 

whatever you do, don't get a fiberglass one. get urethane. be sure to get it painted at a shop that knows what they're doing, because a lot of shops don't know how to prep urethane correctly. though there are some nasty body kits, there are a lot of good looking ones too. just get something that's not too aggressive looking. if you have a 96-00, i'd definitely recommend avenger, which is made by wings west. my friend had it on his 00 si and it looked really good. another good one is big mouth, also by wings west. my bro in law has it on his 99 gsr and it looks pretty clean, but more aggressive than stock.

 

i think jdm kits look nice. even though there a grip, i would love to have one. maybe in the future. mugen, cwest, j's racing, etc...

see, that's the part i don't get. if its jdm, then its cool, no matter what it is. if it's not jdm, then its rice. if wings west was made in japan, would it be cool? i judge body kits by their look, not by where they're made. i do like mugen and c-west (don't know what j's racing looks like), but i also like others that most people on here would consider rice just because they're usdm. however, i would never get a fiberglass body kit, even if it was jdm, c-west comes to mind.

yea dont get a body kit,..most of them suck,..i have one car with a body kit on it,..took me alot of work to get it to fit right,...but i like some show cars,...but i also like Clean styled cars,..thats why i bought another hatch,..it only has a lip,...oh and dont get scared away from honda-tech because 99% of the members on here dont like kits,..its just the way it is here,...i have a kit but i still like it here,...i can almost guarantee im the only one on here with a widebody kit

this is my point. if it's not a jdm part, then it's rice. you gotta realize that good parts are also made in countries other than japan.
