That's not a typo... here's a direct quote from the auction description...
"There is a $100 fully refundable core charge ALREADY INCLUDED IN THE SHIPPING BELOW. This means that you receive $100 back from your total initial payment when you send your undamaged valve cover back to SM Polishing. Please email us if you have absolutely ANY questions about the core charge."
For example, if you pay $175 up front ($60 for the powder coating + $15 for shipping + $100 refundable core charge) then send your old cover back to us you only end up paying $75.
The core charge is not meant to make us money, but simply to ensure that we get valve covers back to do the for the next person. This way the customer only pays for the powder coating, not for an extra valve cover they don't need. It keeps prices down.
If anyone has any questions please feel free to email me at sales@smpolishing.com
Thanks,
Scott

Is it possible to put the textured finish on it?
Like the stock valve cover finish.
They gunmetal looks really good. I think it would look even better if it had a textured finish.

It is possible to get that kind of textured finish, it requires special paint though. I'm not 100 percent sure it's available in gunmetal but I'm going to look into. I'll keep you updated if I find anything.

Scott

Less than two hours to go if anyone wants this valve cover, remember the $100 core charge included in the shipping is FULLY refundable...
The valve cover has been relisted here- http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...&rd=1
There is no longer a core charge of any kind, it seemed to scare some people away.
