After reading a thread he created about a certain rumor, I unfortunately found out that he was banned quite shortly after the incident.

I truly believe he has done nothing wrong by creating that thread.

I don't see how banning him helped anybody in this forum. Now the ITR forum is down and out of another good member.

Bring back Dan, ITR GURU, for he was unrightfully treated.

I happen to agree, but this is probably not the right forum for this.

There's a greater issue, but is not my place to bring it up or raise a flag. Which means I probably shouldn't say what I just said.

and no, i'm not against anyone either. Fair is fair, and checks and balances on H-T are part of what makes this board MUCH MUCH better than any other Honda/Acura board (save for TI, which is equally good....)

I agree with Chris N. Take it up with moderators.

 

I already contacted a mod about Dan. He's a good guy and I don't know all the details but I'm sure whatever happened was not intended to be malicious and I don't think he broke the TOS or anything like that.

Contact a mod, they ARE receptive to those that come to them with well thought out complaints/statements/ideas.

Dan seems to be a pretty good guy and has always been really straight up with me. I don't see what he could have done to get banned.

 

..with all due respect to everyone, I once had a difference of opinion with Mike as well. We took to IM, and ended when he said, (cant recall 'exact' words).. "if you don't like it you can leave."

Lets set a FEW things straight

1.) ITR GURU was banned because he decided to break forum rules - https://honda-tech.com/zerohelp?topic=tos

He also had a chance to clear up his accusations and chose not to but instead to give me wiseass answers. I told him to IM me on HT, AIM me or Call me to discuss this like an adult because I simply wanted to know who was making up this rumor as I would like to clear it up and not have people spreading rumors about me. Is that too much to ask? Have I not gained enough respect and done enough for the people of this board to warrant that respect? Have most of you met me at the ITR Expo? If yes you should know your above answers

2.) He decided to Accuse me of being the Best Buys Moderator.
a) I am Not the BB mod if I was I would use this name like I did the last time I was a mod there (left last time because Teken was a PITA)
b) I do Not appreciate people making false accusations towards me, trying to tarnish my reputation.

3) ALL of the Mods had the oppurtunity to contribute to the BB rules, as you may notice some of the rules came from other forums, some were old ones from Tekens list. When The Mods agreed on what Tony put together the Admins OK'd it. We all had a say in what was proposed. Did I have any say in it? Yes, we all did. Does that make me a Moderator of that Forum? NO. Have a problem then take it up with that guy not me.
