3 runs with 2,000 miles on it, and coming from a RWD car, with no launching techniques for FWD ..... funny that I got a faster time than Car and Driver with no experience .......

Modded very quickly, and times dropped accordingly.

Yup, more than one actually. The first one to do it was Victor Penner (or was that Perry?) who had a bone stock 97 (with A/C). There was a guy in Montreal that also ran 14.3s with his stock 98.

I remember Victor saying that he started out with a low 15s car and it got faster as it put on miles (peaked at 15-20K miles I believe). His skill also improved, no doubt.

I just want to know what I'm doing wrong to only hit a 14.7@95.2. Some of you have hit 14.3 stock, that is insane, the track I race at is only 90ft above sea-level, so its not an altitude problem. All the R's there seem to have a best of 14.7 or 14.8. BTW what mph and 60' are these guys hitting with a 14.3 stock. Thanks
