Default Sqeak when pressing and releasing the cultch pedal

On my way to work this mornig I notice for the first time that when i Press the Cultch pedal in there will be a sqeak. Same thing happends when i release the pedal. It's coming from where the pedal is...

I guess when i get home i'll put some grease or oil on it down there and see what happends.

Anyone ever had this problem?

just needs to be cleaned/greased. if you are that worried, pick up a new clutch cable.. it's like 50 bucks..

Clutch sqeaks when it's cold out? Get a new clutch cable before it breaks on you. If you have a B-series swap, then go with the 90-93 Integra one.

my clutch pedal squeaks also, is it really necessary to swap my clutch cable? i thought it was just the pedal or pedal assembly that needed a little grease

Tell me more about the clutch squeaking when its cold out. is it definately because of the cable or could it be something inside my clutch. Is this the last symptom before it breaks or does it get worse. it happens to mine but only when it is engaging and cold.

well i had the same problem with my clutch cable squeaking, but it happened all the time, not only when it was cold. i thought it was the pedal at first, so i greased up all spring components on the clutch pedal. that didnt work, so i replaced the clutch cable and it fixed the squeaking.

probably a better idea to just change the clutch cable, i heard bad clutch cables can even mess up clutches. only $35 or so from manhonda.com
