Default macpherson question

went to get rsx with flt-a2's aligned and when they took it off the ground, the front wheels had lots of right to left play(in the same movement as when the steering wheel was being turned) but individually. nothing was loose in the strut-to-knuckle area. the bottom of the shock was turning with the wheel as its supposed to, but there was play. could this be a pre-load issue (not enough)?

I run a dc5 with flt-a2's...i experienced this only on the passenger side front coil...all it was was the ring that tightens the ride height adjustment (the bottom of the 3 red rings) was loose. after tightening the ring i've had no issues and it never came undone again.

yeah this was my rsx, and I kept on tightening it but it somehow got itself loose... I'll have to try thread locker maybe...
