Default Subs stop hitting for 1 min after long time with bass

My subs stop hitting after bumping my system for a while and they will usually turn off for about 30 sec to 1 min. I have an Alpine Type R and a Fosgate 350S. Any ideas? Thanks

Nick

Check for a light on the amp... it usually says... "Protection" ( ), but sometimes they'll say "ground" or "voltage"... pretty much just look to see if there's a light on that normally isn't.

ok, i'll take a look at the next time it happens. I dont think it would be overheating because i only put the bass **** to half and volume to like 10-12 out of 60.

carry a DMM with you so when it happens, you can check the B+, rem, and ground connections at the amp, when it is cutting out on you. this should point you in the right direction..

How do you have your sub hooked up? The ohms might be to low.
