H22a Engine mounts for 4th gen civic
I'm planning to drop and H22a into my 91 Hatch. I know that you have to cut and weld mounts in the engine cavity, then use an engine mount kit from Hasport or Place racing. All that sucks.
What if I made my own engine mounts to fit the H22a? Does anyone know that if you make a cutom mount it will work with the physics of the engine? Will the engine rip it's self out because the engine cavity mounts were not moved because of the torque of the engine want not properly balanced?
I just want to make new engine mounts for an H22a without having to cut and weld my cavity mounts.
How many people would buy this engine mount? What would be faster... h22a in 91 civic or 92 civic? How much does a 91' Civic Hatchback Si weight?
-Just an idea
