Well I just sold my IDQ's in the ported box that I just built, and am going to build another ported box. I got some 10" Cerwin Vega Vegas DVC 4ohm ea. The recomended air space is 1.60 not including the sub or the port. My question is, I want to hook them up together @ 4ohmsx1. I was wondering if I build the box and not chamber it off, and only have one port,so that I don't have to build such a big box. Is this at all possible? I'll take any suggestions on a way to build the smallest possible box for them.

It will work fine, since you are going to run them mono.

 

Which size should I make the port? should I make it the size for one, or double the size?
