I decided to purchase Armor All wheel cleaner and used it on my rims today to see if it was the miracle solution to get the cone marks off of my wheel. Well when I sprayed the cleaner, some of it made its way on the brake calipers and rotors. After I washed my car, I took it out for a drive and when I parked the car and inspected it, I noticed the wheel cleaner solution was either coked on my caliper or it took off the goldish paint. Now my caliper looks discoloured. Is there any way to remedy this? Would shine restoration work?

pull off the wheel and clean the calipers then

 

did you wash the car right after driving it? beacause it's a big no no!
