Default camber solution

ok my cousin is going to give me some coilovers that he used on his accord for a short time,he said that they are made for my car and i was wondering if i needed a camber kit? he said that he lowered his accord and he went through a set of tires in a month because his camber was off,so i kinda thought it was just because they are springs made for a smaller car...is that why? would it hurt my car if i didnt get a camber kit because its smaller? its a 91 si hatch! please help me out

He went through tires because he lowered his car too low. Youll get camber wear too if you lower it without a camber kit. I happen to have a brand new one for sale if you're interested. Never used and still in box
