Default B16A turbo vs B18B turbo?

Ok I was thinking about this today:
Say you have the same car, same Turbo kit, same boost, which setup would win in the 1/4 mile? Which setup would you prefer and why?

My initial thought was that the B18B would win because of the torque and displacement advantage, but on the other hand, the B16 has the better top end with the 8000 rpm redline. I couldn't come to a conclusion on my own so I decided to ask you guys! Any help is appreciated.

b18b will last longer and can run more boost but b16 with same boost level is a lot better for track

I'd go with teh b16 being that a turbo needs a high revving motor

b16 all the way
if the b16 beats the b18b stock for stock, why wouldnt it still win with exactly the same mods on each??

B16 would be faster but chances are you can find a b18b swap cheaper to offset the cost of the turbo kit. Either way a good setup

The B16 has the advantage.

It will make much more usable power with a good amount of boost compared to the B18B.

B16A VS B18C well thats another story...

Well let's see the B16A will make more power with the "same mods" and also same boost level, plus the B16A tranny owns the B18A/B log wagon so you make the call.
