Default ARGHHH!!!! My car now dies everytime I come to a stop!!!

For some reason after school today my car has taken a total **** on me. It took me literally 2 minutes to get up to 60mph on the highway. It bogs terribly. Than I drove it to my girlfriends house. Now when I left the car dies whenever I come to a stop. I was on the highway and came to a huge backup. So I had to stop and then the car would die, then I had to start it and give it gas so i could drive 2 feet than have it die again. Arghhh this car is a nightmare, I really wish I just had a stock engine, slow or not it was reliable. What could be my problem. The only codes I am throwing are 3 and 5 but I have been throwing those for a long time and the car still worked fine. Could it have anything to do with the PCV valve?

sounds like something a little more than a pcv valve. have you ever replaced the fuel filter? hows the air filter? hows the gas u put into it? could be too many things

Fuel Filter isn't that old, Air Filter is ok I guess (not too old and not that dirty), Gas is '94 Octane.

Check your idle adjustment screw located on the TB. Perhaps your base idle speed is set too low, and the EACV is too slow to compensate when the RPMS fall too quickly. Make sense?

Maybe that could be it, I'll give it a shot in the morning. But my car also drives real shitting to, idle screw wouldn't have anything to do with that.

OK I adjusted that screw and took off the air filter and started it. It stayed alive a couple seconds and then died.

I have brand new NGK Spark Plugs in it, and my spark plug wires (came with the car) but I don't think they are that old.

That same sort of thing happens when your catalytic converter gets plugged. Exhaust gasses have no where to go and they jam up the whole flow. NOT good for the engine.

Hmmm that is an idea. I'm going to go to the Acura dealer and get a bunch of parts so I can "tune up" some of the crappy stuff on my car.

Here is my new theory. Nasty **** is getting into my exhaust via lack of PCV so all that stuff is clogging it up, would that make sense? I think I will go fix my car later today.

Well I'm getting a PCV, Exhaust Gasket, and TB Gasket from Acura which is all stuff I know I need already since 2/3 of those I don't even have on my car. My Cat is upside down so I know I have to turn it around so the heatshield faces upward anyway so I can check to see if the Cat is clogged then. Too bad its pouring down rain right now

The only codes are 3 and 5 for the MAP Sensor, but it's said that the entire time I've had the car and it ran fine before. No one in the world seems to know the correct ZC Vacuum diagram so thats the best I can do.

OMG this is horrible. You do not have to buy a new one and it would have been easier to fix it than all the work you did to cap it off. You'll have to take it off anyways to get you plug out, the take off the back panel of the fast idle valve. Should have to 8mm bolts holding it on. You will see there is a threaded plastic sleeve and that is has rattled out. Put some of you honda bond on the threads and while pushing it in , turn it in all the way it will go and back it off half turn. All that happens to the fast idle valves is that sleeve rattles out. Mostly from vibration added from nonstock motor mounts and things like heavy idle cams and ****. I knew a kid that did what you did but used jb weld. Sucked it in his motor and bent a couple valves up.
