GS-R on the left, ITR on the right. ITR also has the limited slip, 15 lb flywheel (as opposed to 18 lb on GS-R) and different clutch.

5th 0.787 0.848
Final Drive 4.400 4.400
Reverse 3.000 3.000
Besides that...they should be the same.

I think other than the gears and lsd, they're the same. GSR's also use the dual cone syncros i believe. There is a tranny guide on http://www.hondaswap.com <--excellent information.

I have a GSR integra. theres not a big difference between a GSR 5th and an LS 5th. But when I went with the ITR tranny, Id be in VTEC all day since it comes on at 4400 RPM in a GSR. So I just decided to get the biggest 5th gear they make.

what is the upshift like from 4th to 5th with an LS 5th gear?
an itr tranny with 4.7fd and ls fifth.... is the acceleration noticably less in 5th gear? how much lower are the revs as opposed to an itr 5th gear and 4.7 fd?

KAAZ LSD = ****, broken, crapped out after 3 months of use. junk NEVER BUY A KAAZ LSD they dont hold up worth a ****.

well, mine will be in tomorrow night, suffice to say the car is going to fall flat on it's face with the ls 5th....

neo, i will not be going to nassau,i will be at the pro solo in virginia. if i ever get the damn correct 5th gear (fuggin local acura sucks monkey *****, i should have used some of the reliable parts sources here on h-t.. ) i will get the tranny back together. i rebuilt my lsd with a D20 rebuild kit from ATS. i am anxious to break it in.
