Default What is better, 8.9 lb flywheel or 11.9 lb flywheel for drag racing?

I want a few suggestions on what flywheel to get because I plan to get one and want to know which one is best for drag racing. Thanks.

Some people might say that flywheel that is to light is bad because you will lose revs when you shift. I just put a 7.5lb fidanza in my car and if you shift well you dont lose anything. However you do gain a good amount of reponsiveness. Personally I would go with the 8.9, but I am making 186 to the wheels so I have the power to be able to push the car a little harder without losing anything off the line. It also helps that I have more tourqe. B18c5, always a good thing.

the heavier one is generally better for street use and lighter is more for racing purposes.

If this car is mostly for drag racing then go with the lighter, if this is also your daily driver as long as your willing to get used to it you'll be ok but I'd personally go with the 11.9 for DD.
