i need help! could someone tell me a vendor who could sell me a brand new gear set including synchros for my S one transmission?

Unfortunately, the new syncros and bearings for the S1/Y1/J1 cable trannys are only availiable in Japan. There is a guy on here that can ge them, but be prepared to wait a while for the parts. IMO, if your tranny really is messed up, I would try to get another used unit. I know http://www.JDMSHIT.com has them. Unless yours is really messed up, I would try putting new Honda MTF in it. It works wonders.

 

Try using GM syncromesh fluid. Apparantly some GM trannies are crap, and this is the stuff they use for bad synchros. Try it.
