Still, REAL HIGH IDLE, dont know what to do??
I replaced all the vacume lines. No leaks, all hoses are going to the correct spots, I am getting no codes., new swap in my Dx 89 crx, its a b16a. For some reason the car is idleing at 4,000-4,500 RPMS !!! what the hell is going on....retraced wires numerous times, all correct , orrigionally I had code 14 and code 5, fixed both these problems, codes went away, now I have no codes yet it is still idleing crazy,,,,I have never driven the car with the new engine in yet.....All I want to do is figure out what the hell is going on so I could take it for a spin , and have it idle right....I tried adjusting the idle screw on the throttle body, dont know what else to do,,,,,,,anyone ever have this problem,,,what did you do....????
I switched the two outside wires on the TPS sensor so it is not that....

Mr.S , is the man with the plan! I ****** cant believe it. I busted my *** for two -three days trying to figure out why my car is idleing at 4,000 rpms, and after all it was only my throttle cable was too tight.
I knew that I wired everything correctly, it was too simple to **** up! anyway, I loosened the cable on the bracket that I fabricated, started right up, idled at about 1500, then I set the timing and idle, now i am idleing at 900, I dont know if thats where it is supposed to be, but it is running great now,,,.....
