yeah, I can get teh compressor wheel...they are 70 shipped, but unless you have a housing to fit teh 57 trim wheel, it won't fit.
there is no need to balance

hmmm, well, i have a compressor housing off a murkur i think, its an m11 housing, any idea what wheel might fit then??? its a .60 a/r housing. i currently have a saab t3 with .42 comp, .63 turbine housings, can u help me out?
how exactly should i measure it?? just a tape measure or what?? i have a micrometer too somewhere, should i just measure the hole diameter or what??
would this compressor housing mate up to a saab t3 turbo...sound like a cheap way for a freind of mine ot get a .48 on the turbine and a nice .57a/r ont he compressor....do you have anything bigger for the compressor side...like a 60 a/r etc? or even a .63

As of right now, I only have the .57 trim only. Yes it will mate to a Saab t3 turbo. Let me know if you're interested.
And yes, you are correct, this is a rally cheap way of aquiring a t3/t4 hybrid turbo

A 57 trim will not mate to a Saab T3 compressor side, the 57 trim has a 2.1xx" inducer and close to 3" exducer, a far cry from the saab's 50 trim T3 which is around 1.7xx"inducer and 2.36" exducer, the merkur turbo is a 60 trim T3 turbo, which means that it has a 1.8xx" inducer and a 2.36" exducer, Not only would this turbo not be efficient because a T3 compressor housing is too small to flow that air, but you'd have to spend bucks on getting the housing machined to accept the bigger T04 compressor wheel, then machine the T3 backplate to accept the T04's 3" or so exducer. Then have your turbo balanced, not to mention that it'll still be an old turbo either way you look at it, old bearings=old turbo.
Turbos are so cheap nowadays that i dont see why doing this at all and having your bearings go a couple of months down the road and having to spend 300 bucks for a rebuild.
Hope this helps

IF you read closely, it includes a matching compressor housing and backplate for the wheel. I can get them rebuilt if you guys want or I can sell a rebuild kit for 80 bucks shipped
Paul, I meant to say that just buying the wheel is not worth it since you'd have to machine the compressor housing and the backplate aferwards, not to mention that it wouldnt be efficient due to the T3's .42 compressor a/r.
your whole kit is something different though.

I think that my boy Killa studied too hard at Rutgers, because he remembers every compressor map by heart. Somebody better call Corky Bells, because killa will drop knowledge on him too
