ITR track setup
I plan to do some dragging in my ITR at the track, starting in a few months.
Need some advice on a wheel/tire setup. Right now I am daily driving with falken azenis on the stock 15 inch wheels (5 lug). I would like to have a set of slicks mounted to a set of wheels for the track.
Do bogarts help that much? Which are the best make? How much are they? Will they mount straight up to the car?
As for suspension, i am currently just riding with H&R sports on the stock shocks - just thought I would mention than incase it had an effect on running the bogarts.
If not bogarts, then I am thinking the best thing to do would be to get a set of larger "pretty wheels" for the street (like some 17 inch LE's), and then mount some slicks on my stock rims for the track.
What do you all think? Opinions?
Thanks,
Jon

I/H/E Tires, like Bfg drag radials/falkens/so3's, all that with a good driver should do it considering you are close to sea level...
Cheapest way? Probably slicks and an intake or something with good driver and high rpm launches..

Well you could try running drag radials and see how you like that. Or you can get another pair of 15" ITR wheels or drag wheels and try some 22x8x15 MT's. Or mount these on your stockers and get some blingin 17's.

Sounds like the most probable option so far. No matter what the scenario, I'd like to use slicks at the strip, and sticky street tires when daily driving. I dont want to run drag radials. Ill just cruise to the track on the slicks cuz it's gonna be only 15 min away.
How come there aren't any bogarts that will fit 5 lug?
Again, how much does it generally cost to convert to 4 lug?
Would the weight/diameter of a bogart really be worth doing all of this stuff, or would a stock wheel/slick net me almost the same 1/4 time? What kind of a difference in performace are we talking about?
