Another victim fellas...Last night between 4 and 4:30 a.m. I hear an alarm go off. I'm a little groggy, but I hear it go off a second time! I get up and walk over to my window and see that my car is there, but the alarm is still going off (This is an apartment complex so there a dozens of alarms that sound like mine). I was like, "WTF..." So I go outside and I see my driver side door wide open. I walked up slowly to make sure they weren't hiding or something and I found the wires to my Defi gauges all over the place. My blood boiled!!!!!! As I was about to go back inside and one of my neighbors who was getting ready to go to work came out onto his balcony and said he saw a "a guy get out of my car and jump into small car just like mine (it figures)" He said he didn't get a good look at him. Anyway, I went back inside and called the police. They came and they filled out a report. I doubt I'll see the gauges again, but I could care less. It's the violation that burns me up!!! I wish I could've gotten up sooner. ARRRRRRRGGGGHHHHHH!!!!! I'm not sure if they were after the car, but if they were they might be back.

FYI This happened in the Woodbridge-Perth Amboy area. I just wanted to put this out there so that everybody in my area can be a little more concious of where they park. Lock those honda's up guys.

Its a horrible feeling knowing that you always have to watch your back everytime you park some where.

Consider youself lucky, I have a friend who walked into 711 for 5 minutes and his car was gone when he came out.

this is true...it coulda been worse...i hate to say **** thieves in general...cause i aint ganna lie i used to steal...but like from stores...nothing personall...so **** CAR theives....somthing i never did...

 

I got my car jacked, took my whole car. **** THIEVES for sure, dont they know that the things i bought for my car, I have to fucken WORK 40 hours a week...... and some foo's just comes around and takes it. I personally think its people that I know....but just dont have proof its them....

**** it I'll let GOD handle this ****.......next time it happens to me again, I'll handle it myself....maybe a glock 9 will do the job....

NOTE: and too the people whole say its just a car and not worth the trouble, you can't say that until it happens to you and especailly the people you think it is too but dont have proof becuase you didn't see them....you guys have to understand that everyone in this forum fixes car and does most of the labor themselves just like me, and after long days of work, every cent you made and having extra cash on the side, you invest it into your car and its gone in a split second. I realize that I'm going get over it eventually and that I shouldn't get emotionally attached to a material object, but like he said, I'm like many honda-tech members, I've put my blood, sweat, and tears into this project. You can't help but take it personally. Anyways, you reap what you sow, so I'm not worried...

look at it this way........You learned a 250 $ dollar lesson ( or however expensive the gauges were), so next time you will be much more careful with your baby, and not a $10,000 lesson......

yeah, i worry everyday about my car. especially the mods i have done. Theres no way people could not know its MY car when they see it. Very few like this around. i work down in that "Area" so I know how bad it is.
