Default Clicking noise

When at idle, you can hear a fairly quiet clicking noise under the hood. It almost sounds like the cams? I don't believe I have any oil problems. No leaks or anything. Is this a sign of a problem or am I just paranoid? It is a 90 ls teg.

it can be one of two things

1. you need a valve adjustment

2. you are hearing you injectors if you still have the stock ones

I still have stock injectors. So you are saying that hearing this noise from stock injectors is normal and I should not worry? Or does this mean that the injectors are bad?

if the noise is comeing from the STOCK injectors and only the injectors it is fine all honda injectors do that becouse that use the needle and seat technology and they make noise but if you have say RC injectors they us a ball ans seal and they hardly make any noise due to that the ball is always rotating and alot smoother operation

but if it is only the injectors you are fine all the stock ones make noise

my integras stock injectors are loud as heck. they make a hard clicking noise. if you can, take it to a local shop and see if they have a stethoscope...place that on the injectors and see if thats the noise.

you should be getting a valve adjustment every 20k or so. i just got mine for $60 labor. and about $30 for replacing all the gaskets and washers.
