i just got my 72mm throttlebody. Tried to put the damn thing on. However i think that the skunk2 intake manifold's hole isn't near close at 72mm...should i take it to the machineshop and bore it out to match the tb?

the skunk2 manifold is 65 mm, i plan on taking a dremel and porting my jg manifold to my 70mm tb. jegs sells this cool 30$ self porting kit.

 

who makes the 72mm??

self porting scares me. I'm afraid i go dremel happy and do more than i should

Go to the junkyard and get a bunch of practice parts. Or you can be like me and just have your way with your parent's dead car

 

damn that is a big tb. my friend had a 70mm on his b16 with a t3 turbo and it was making him bog. when he put the 68mm one one he was running fine again. hope you have a big turbo for that thing.
