Painted my first valvecover..
It was cold so the paint didn't stick to well, plus it was dark so I think I probably could have had more even coats has I been able to see. But all in all, it came out pretty good..
I'm going to do a B-series tommorrow. But this one will be very special, you will see why when I post the pics!

My friend is going to give this valvecover to a cousin who has an RSX on Advan's, so we'll see what it looks like eventually. I did it more just to learn how to get crinkle.

I washed it with some Muric acid mixed with water (50/50), that makes it porous, then i primered it, and then layers of gold and grey to get the krinkle effect, then baked it for 10 minutes in my oven.
was the paint made by duplicolor...and the color was gold?? anyways...it looks nice...id post pics of my gunmetal one but i only got one shitty pic...maybe ill take some better pics than post it
