I bought my FI hood and it so happened that one of the screws was broken when they delivered it so I just filed a claim on it. Although I did try to put it on nothing lined up evenly. It fit like s**t. I am going to buy another one as soon as they give me my money. What brand and wheres the best place to buy it from? I already lost 100 bux. shipping is giving me 500 bux and I paid 600 shipped for the other one.

 

i have a fiber images cf hood and the clear coat is comming off, not sure if it does that to other but its done it to plenty of fiber images hoods ive seen, i'd go w/ VIS

 

Get a VIS hood. The fitment is awesome and I don't have any problems w/ it. Plus it's about 200 bucks cheaper than FI.

 

ive heARD good shiite about vis but i have one from ebay and it fits great with pins.

i had a FI hood that was pretty nice, but i have a few friends' that have FI and the clear is coming off, a few of them had the clear peeling when they were just opened, i've also heard great things about VIS

I love my ViS, its a perfect fit and looks awesome. it has a pretty rugged latch too so I doubt you'll need hood pins

em..please do research more about hoodpins before just say"it's vis so i dont need one".
vis strongly recommend the usage of hood pins on their hoods
