HELLO! New hear, have some questions.
First id like to say hello all......................Im new to this msg board and it seems very direct and informative, which is great. Im from toronto and I own a 94 civic si coup. I have a axel back exhuast unit and shitty ram air, with the K.N. Intake. Well ive been contemplating a gsr swap but my sohc is running strong and im going to tune it n/a for what its worth. Currently im going to finish off my exhuast to the cat, since its only an axel back and add a high flo cat. Im using 2 1/4 piping all the way back. Im then going to add a header, 4-2-1 not sure if stainless steel or ceramic, ideas please. I will be advancing my timing about 5 degres. I also bought another head, which im planning to port n polish and.........? not too sure what else i can do to the head, well im also gonna add some mild cams and gear. A friend of mine also does ecu chipping and has several progams available, so it will be chipped. I forgot to mention Im thinking about chaning the ram into a homemade cai, or at least im going to wrap my ram air with some heat resistant tape to try and cool it down. These are some immediate mods im going to do, when i find a used vfac I would like to add this and dyno tune and adjust vtec engagement. If you guys could give me a rough estimate of what kind of power this will make or times 1/4 you would safe me alot of mony if its not what i expect, I dont expect too much but definatly some improvment. So please let me know what you think and some advice on what I should change etc, thanks alot,
Loren

you guys are dumb in canada the SI is an ex here so why clown the guy?
Hes just getting started just like most of us got started.
As to suggestions man listen your gonna spend all kinds of money on that single cam and be making almost the same power as if you were to swap it out. Trust us unless you own a hell of a light car like a crx or gutted out 92-95cx hatch then its not gonna be fun. Either swap it out or get a trubo for that bizzathc!
