Default Cleaning Wheels.....

I just bought some used wheels, and they are pretty dirty. There is like some black grease, tar, something stuck on, and difficult to get off. What can I use thats safe for the finish of the wheels, that can get all this stuff off?

Any suggestions on getting these things spotless?

Thanks,
-Will

Simple green will help you, but if you dont trust it, get out the good old soap and water.
